We are pleased to announce the success of the I4DE Project's Final Event, which Launched with three intense days of challenges from January 19 to 21, 2024, focused on digital entrepreneurship in the service of Industry 4.0. Multidisciplinary teams, consisting of students from the University of Sousse with diverse profiles in management and engineering, presented their innovative projects on Monday, January 22, before a high-level international jury, including renowned experts such as Prof. Romeo Bandinelli, Dr. Virginia Fani, .
We are pleased to announce the success of the I4DE Project's Final Event. Spanning from January 19 to 21, 2024, the event was marked by three intense days of challenges. It centered on digital entrepreneurship in the service of Industry 4.0, featuring multidisciplinary teams from the University of Sousse with diverse profiles in management and engineering. On January 22, these teams presented their innovative projects before an esteemed international jury, which included experts : Prof. Romeo Bandinelli, Eng. Ilaria BUCCI and Dr. Virginia Fani from UNIFI and Eng. Akrem Mahjoubi, and Mrs. Nehla Ghedira from Novation City.
Six projects, including AquaFlow, IPPMtech, CarbonLinkIoT, Smart Guardian, Energy Generation Modal, and SkySage, underwent evaluation. After pitching, SkySage claimed the Excellence Award, while CarbonLinkIoT secured the 2nd Prize, shining brightly as winners.
The project's closing ceremony, held on January 23, 2024, featured a rich program starting with an opening statement from the project coordinator, Dr. Moncef Ghiss. He reflected on the various challenges, objectives, and events accomplished throughout the project. Two inspiring conferences followed, shedding light on the experiences of UTC and UNIFI in the field of Industry 4.0 and beyond.
The day concluded with a round table on Industry 5.0 - Sustainability, Management, and Business Aspects, moderted by Dr. Virginia Fani and Dr. Moncef Ghiss. This session addressed crucial topics such as sustainability, management, and business aspects in the context of Industry 5.0.
The subsequent two days, January 24 and 25, were dedicated to workshops and preparation for the upcoming EMJM project submission, emphasizing the I4DE project team's ongoing commitment to innovative education and research for practical future applications.
